Last Month i realized that many of the links had expired, and weren’t showing up in categories, thereby i was having more empty categories than i should!!! So got some time out to sit down and key in a small renew mod, which sends out my link renew emails for phpLD, and also takes care of renew fee payment via paypal IPN, just like submissions.
I thought I’d release the code if someone else wants it,… the code released is only for phpLD 3.3.0, if you have any other version of phpLD please lemme know and ill cook up something for you.
The Mod:

BONUS FEATURE: The mod comes preinstalled with Rakchas deeplink mod for 3.3.0!!!
1. 2 Options there, All Expired links / All Links bound to expire in 30 days. so you can view both in diffrent panels,
2. Date when the last renew email was sent, on an link by link basis,… so you dont want to sound like spam with your link renew mails.
3. Number of emails sent will tell you how many emails you have already sent to a individual site owner.
4. Send Mass email,… again you have to choose between “Expired links” and “sites Expiring in 30 days”, and then mass email those links with the renew email.
If you wish to send to both, viz “Expired links” and “Sites Expiring in 30 days”, you will have to repeat the process for both.
5. You have other settings for link expire under settings menu where you can choose to auto approve renewed links, and other settings which give you full control over the way this works,
6. Details page shows a popin when the link has expired,
